The Bar was packed with people, all waiting expectantly for the George Lake Big Band to start. I felt like I was in the middle of an old black and white movie, especially when the suave leader of the 19-piece band, donned his cool black hat and smoothly wished us all a warm Chick’n’Deli welcome. We sat over beer and wings, and soaked up an amazing show of sheer musical brilliance. I had the time of my life.

THE music event in November is when the George Lake BIG Band and Little Peter and the Elegants combine to give you wonderful music from many decades. We have set the date this year as Saturday, November 7, 2026. We’ve taken your comments and suggestions from the past events and we’re pleased to announce that this year we will have three buffet stations to speed up the food service.
Doors will open at 5:00pm, the buffet will start at 5:30pm and the live music begins at 7:00pm. The George Lake BIG Band and Little Peter and the Elegants will alternate sets for your dancing and listening pleasure! Let’s look at the improvements for this year!
The Trillium Ballroom features:
- 11,500 square feet of space
- Comfortably accommodates up to 650 people – we will restrict ticket sales to 400
- BIG dance floor measuring 2,400 square feet

Only 400 tickets will be sold to ensure ample dancing space and comfortable seating for everyone. Two bars will be set up and more employees will be working the room.
Tickets are $70 per person and we are offering a discounted price of $65 for groups of 10 or more.
When reserving a full table, you can now choose between a table of 10 or a table of 8 and we will be asking for a larger table size for these groups. Feel free to e-transfer $70 tickets x the number of tickets to steve.pettafor@gmail.com or mail a cheque payable to “Peter Toller” to Peter Toller, 92 Lakeshore Rd. E. Ste.216, Mississauga, ON L5G 4S2. We will then get the tickets out to you.
